How strong is the Roccaravindola report?

Roccaravindola is a good story but a weak case. Its value lies in the human and regional record: two frightened young witnesses as relayed by a parent, a claimed close-range luminous sphere, a smaller departing light, and a local press moment in which several Isernia-area UFO stories surfaced together. That makes it worth including in Molise’s UFO history.

As evidence for an extraordinary object, however, it is limited. The case has four major weaknesses:

the report was published months after the alleged event;

no photograph, video, official file or technical check is available in the public story;
